La-Crete-Sauvage

Depart from the hotel and pass through the village of Tilissos, southwest of Heraklion, a 4000 year old village which has retained its original name. Continue to the typical village of Gonies and climb to Anogia, arguably the most typical village on the island. Ascent to the Nida plateau which offers a splendid panoramic view. Visit of the Zoniana cave with its superb stalactites and stalagmites. We descend west towards Axos, a village rich in historical events for lunch. Continuation to Garazo, then access to the national road thanks to a winding path offering a panoramic view of the village of Sisses. Stop at the birthplace of the famous painter EL GRECO, Fodele, famous for its orange and lemon trees.
